Reflection
As a musician, a key way to reach your fans, and create new ones is touring. Touring can often be hard for musicians, it will often put a mental and financial tour on the members of the bands and if you're not in the right mindset, it will be detrimental for you.

Upon interviewing the artists that I did, I have learned 2 things.

1. Touring is hard. Its mentally taxing and physically taxing. Often times you get no sleep and are left to shower in rest stops and gym bathrooms. But every morning you wake up in a new city, and every night you get to play in front of hundreds, even thousands of new people. And that makes it all worth it for these musicians.

2. Its all about the mindset. If you go into a music career with a terrible mindset, and no faith in yourself or the music you produce you will get nothing out of this experience. As Chris Wiseman stated in his interview "opening a tour was more like an unpaid internship that college students would do". Musicians often don't make anywhere close to making a stable living off of music for years, you have to be passionate about what you do and stick with it to be successful.
