The Humans of Work project is based off of a narrative portfolio by Brandon Stanton called Humans of New York. His portfolio includes images and interviews to tell the stories of people he finds in New York City. The project Humans of Work is aimed to investigate the idea of work through different means, and how it impacts people's lives in various ways.

I chose to focus on the work involved in The Long Days of a Touring Musician. Often times the only source of income touring musicians have is their music, given the time you have to put into the job. My main goal was to address what a typical day is like on tour, and what overall mental and financial burdens the artists go through while they are on tour.
